Oberea (Oberea) nigripennis nigripennis Breuning, 1950 is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.

The group is the nominal subdivision of Oberea nigripennis, species combined with the Oberea genus ranked in the Saperdini tribe of Lamiinae.
