The type specimen used for original description is cited from Kuilu.

Dichostatoides lobatus lobatus (Jordan, 1894) is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.

The group is the nominal subdivision of Dichostatoides lobatus, species combined with the Dichostatoides genus ranked in the Crossotina tribe of Lamiinae.
