Aderpas griseus griseus (Thomson, 1858) is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.

The group is the nominate subdivision of Aderpas griseus, species combined with the Aderpas genus ranked in the Aderpasini tribe of Lamiinae.
