The type specimen used for original description is cited from Luzon.

Acalolepta (Dihammus) antenor (Newman, 1842) is the full name of the group-species in the taxonomic classification system.

The species divided into 5 subspecies, is combined with the Acalolepta genus ranked in the Lamiini tribe of Lamiinae.
