Prosopocera (Prosopocera) lactator meridionalis Jordan, 1903

K. Jordan is the author of the original taxon.

The type specimen used for original description comes from South Africa, Transvaal.

Prosopocera (Prosopocera) lactator meridionalis Jordan, 1903 is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.

The group is a subdivision of Prosopocera lactator, species combined with the Prosopocera genus ranked in the Prosopocerini tribe of Lamiinae.
