Planodema is the scientific name of a group of Lamiinae -also called lamiines or flat-faced longhorned beetles-

Planodema Thomson, 1860

J. Thomson is the author of the original taxon.

The type species is Domitia scorta Thomson, 1858.

Planodema Thomson, 1860 is the full name of the group-genus in the taxonomic classification system.
