Monochamus (Quasiochamus) adamitus nyassensis Gahan, 1888 is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.

The group is a subdivision of Monochamus adamitus, species combined with the Monochamus genus ranked in the Lamiini tribe of Lamiinae.
