Agapanthia (Epoptes) dahlii salviae Holzschuh, 1975 is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.

The group is a subdivision of Agapanthia dahlii, species combined with the Agapanthia genus ranked in the Agapanthiini tribe of Lamiinae.
