The type specimen used for original description is cited from Russia.
Agapanthia (Epoptes) boeberi boeberi (Fischer-Waldheim, 1806) is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.
The group is the nominal subdivision of Agapanthia boeberi, species combined with the Agapanthia genus ranked in the Agapanthiini tribe of Lamiinae.
