Tetrops (Mimosophronica) formosus bivittulatus Jankowski, 1934 is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.

The group is a subdivision of Tetrops formosus, species combined with the Tetrops genus ranked in the Tetropini tribe of Lamiinae.
