The type species is Opsilia flavicans Mulsant, 1863.

Phytoecia (Opsilia) Mulsant, 1863 is the full name of the group-subgenus in the taxonomic classification system.

Phytoecia (Opsilia) has 14 species plus 1 non-nominal subspecies. The subgenus is a subdivision of Phytoecia, genus ranked in the Saperdini tribe of Lamiinae.
