Mesosa (Mesosa) Latreille, 1829

P.A. Latreille is the author of the original taxon.

The type species is Cerambyx curculionoides Linnaeus, 1761.

Mesosa (Mesosa) Latreille, 1829 is the full name of the group-subgenus in the taxonomic classification system.

Mesosa (Mesosa) has 7 species plus 1 non-nominal subspecies. The subgenus is the nominal subdivision of Mesosa, genus ranked in the Mesosini tribe of Lamiinae.
