Exocentrus (Oligopsis) alboguttatus taiwanensis Kusama & Tahira, 1978 is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.

The group is a subdivision of Exocentrus alboguttatus, species combined with the Exocentrus genus ranked in the Exocentrini tribe of Lamiinae.
