Adetus antennatus antennatus (Thomson, 1868) is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.

The group is the nominate subdivision of Adetus antennatus, species combined with the Adetus genus ranked in the Apomecynini tribe of Lamiinae.
