Glenea venusta venusta is the scientific name of a group of Lamiinae -also called lamiines or flat-faced longhorned beetles-


Glenea (Glenea) venusta venusta (Guerin, 1831)

F.E. Guerin-Meneville is the author of the original taxon.

The type specimen used for original description is cited from New Ireland.

Glenea (Glenea) venusta venusta (Guerin, 1831) is the full name of the group-subspecies in the taxonomic classification system.

The group is the nominal subdivision of Glenea venusta, species combined with the Glenea genus ranked in the Saperdini tribe of Lamiinae.
